FAQ
Saffron & Quality
Is your saffron 100% pure, with nothing added?
Yes. Our saffron is Negin grade, hand-picked in Iran and tested by an independent lab in Munich, certified ISO 3632 Category I, the highest recognized quality standard.
How should I store saffron to keep it fresh?
Keep it sealed in its jar, in a cool, dark place, away from direct light and moisture. Stored this way, it keeps its color and aroma for years.
How much saffron do I need for a recipe?
A little goes a long way. A few threads are usually enough for a full dish. Our 1g jar is a good starting size for occasional cooking; the 4g jar suits regular use.
Pottery
Is the pottery food-safe? Can I use it every day?
Yes. Every piece is fired at 950°C using a traditional method, and is fully dishwasher- and microwave-safe. It's made to be used, not just displayed.
Is each piece exactly the same?
No, and that's intentional. Every piece is shaped and painted by hand, so small variations are part of what makes it genuine rather than mass-produced.
Orders & Payment
What payment methods do you accept?
We accept PayPal and bank transfer (Überweisung).
Shipping & Delivery
How is shipping cost calculated?
Shipping is calculated based on Deutsche Post and DHL rates. For full details, see our Shipping Cost page.
What's the benefit of insured, tracked shipping?
Packages can occasionally be damaged or lost in transit. With insurance and tracking, you're covered: if something goes wrong, we'll refund your order or send a replacement.
How long does delivery take?
We ship using Deutsche Post and DHL. You can check estimated delivery times for your destination directly on DHL's website.
What happens if my pottery arrives damaged?
Contact us with photos of the item and packaging as soon as possible, and we'll arrange a replacement or refund.
Returns
What is your return policy?
You have the right to return your order within 14 days without giving a reason, in line with EU consumer law. For saffron, the jar must be returned unopened, sealed the way you received it, with the saffron unused.
